The Bridge

This is a piece from my Pen and Ink class, done later in the semester. We had to pick a pen and ink drawing done by a "famous" artist and draw it ourselves, making the drawing the same size as the original dimensions if any were found.

I chose this piece, "The Bridge" by Jan Van Scorel, a Dutch painter, 1495-1562. This piece was done in pen and ink, with mostly hatching/crosshatching.

Done with a crow quill pen and India Ink on 9X12inch smooth Bristol Paper.
