'Self' Portrait

This was my Pen and Ink final. We had to do "self portraits" though it didn't matter if they were really of ourselves or if they were just about things important to us (some students drew their pets or objects that were important in their lives) I wanted mine to show my love of art and form... I love to draw (the picture), I love beading (jewelry), I am loving learning to crochet/knit (the shawl/scarf). The jewelry, scarf and lipstick are actually done with glittery gel pens, but of course there's no easy way to get that across in a scan.

9X12 smooth Bristol, W&N colored ink, Chartpak markers, Gel Pens, Speedball pen nib, brushes.

Also, I put it under "manga/anime" because it's not "realisitic" enough I think to be non-anime... I could be wrong!
